America’s Secret Recipes – What is it ?

Jun 16th, 2010

We live in Belgium (next to France). I hope you will excuse me for my so simple English.

Last year, we went on vacation to Florida to visit my sister in law. She moved there many years ago and we visit her almost every years :-) .

One night, we were invited at some friends house for dinner for the first time. Generally speaking, we prefer going out to restaurants. On the way to their house we were wondering how good of a cook our friend was, and which secret recipes she had in mind.

Italian food is definitely on top of our list when it comes to eat.

Guess what? Surprisingly, they served a complete meal from Olive Garden. It looked and taste like the real thing.

We love Olive Gardens, we even thought it was “take out”! She told us it was home made and she had simply follow the recipes from the “America’s secret Recipes” cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow, and for every levels of expertise, from the beginner to the more experienced chefs.

The evening was a real success.

We spoke a little bit about this cookbook and how easy or difficult it was to copycat those recipes. Our friends explain us it is so easy to duplicate.  Anyone could make it.

In this “America’s Secret Recipes” cookbook, you can find many of recipes from different restaurants like:

- Applebee’s
- Olive Garden
- Chili’s
- T.G.I. Friday
- P.F. changs
- Redlobster
- etc…

If you really want to impress your friends or even have a nice quiet romantic dinner in you own house, I highly recommend that “American’s secret recipes” cookbook.

It will make you want to say like in french, “bon appetit”.
